Timeline

May 21, 2017
Today I went to the store and bought all of my supplies. I bought the ply wood from Orchard Supply Store and the paints and such from Michaels Craft store. When I got home, I coated the ply wood with about three coats of paint primer.

May 27, 2017
Today I painted my mural. First, I painted the entire thing white. Then, I drew my outline in pencil. Then, I painted in the green recycle logo. Finally, I painted California black. Tomorrow, I plan to work on my blog.

May 28, 2017
Today is my last day working on the project. I completed my home page, about page, budget statement, photo timeline, and finally, my timeline. I am really happy with the way my mural turned out. At first, I was really conflicted about what I wanted to do for my project. My inspiration came from a sign I saw in a classroom. This project taught me a lot about time management. I didn't realize until the very end that I had very little time left in the school year to complete this project, along with many others. I'm really glad Mr. Bursch had us complete 3 of these projects this year, because it really helped me help the community in a way I knew how, art.
